# Someplace Else, strip 3 of 4: "Our Own Store"

**Panel 1.** Willy and Dolly are already behind a little wooden stand with a hand-lettered sign: W&D GOODS.
- John types: "fine. start ur own store lol"
- Willy: "On it!"

**Panel 2.** One bag of coffee sits on the stand.
- Dolly: "Where did we get our stock?"
- Willy: "John bought it at Nile Mart!"

**Panel 3.** Willy beams.
- Dolly: "So we're a store that shops at the store."
- Willy, sincerely: "We're very well supplied."

**Panel 4.** A second hand-lettered sign has appeared on the stand: ONLY JOHN PRESSES BUY.
- John types: "ok how much for the coffee"
- Willy, sincerely: "Press Buy! Store rules!"

**Who's who.** Willy is a red teardrop who jumps right in; when he finishes a job, a tally mark appears beside him. Dolly is a mustard-yellow ring who asks first; a trail of dots follows her, longer when she's unsure and gone when she's certain. They're bots: helpers that live inside the computer. John, the human, is never drawn. His typed messages slide in from the edge of the panel, with a little cursor at the end.
